Further Information This performance was one of three on the flyer, the other two being East Lynne (performed 6 October 1899) and Uncle Tom's Cabin (7 October 1899) at the theatre Royal, Hobart. The first performance of this play was at the Victoria Theatre, Newcastle on Saturday 12 August 1899, and then on 21 August in Maitland, NSW.
