| Description |
A new work in "The Oaks Cafe" series as part of the Antistatic 1999 program, a Performance Space event. Russell Dumas, one of Australia's most talented and experienced artists, is engaged in an ongoing dance and research project titled "The Oak's Cafe" - the results of which have been performed around the world. "Cassandra's Dance" examines how we can attempt to foretell or imagine the future when the contemporary body becomes a rich reservoir of conservative images from the past. |
