"Boys growing up test their limits and take risks in a way that girls do not. This observation inspired a physical force-field combining acrobatics, dance moves, dialogue, balances and skateboards. The collaboration between the young cast and the director means that a move which was discovered while 'mucking around' can be taken up into the choreography. Using skateboards and each other as props, they come hurtling through the air, tumbling and piling up, before dissolving into the next story. This play tells stories based on the cast's actual experiences." |
