Theatre Aotearoa is committed to collecting and sharing information about live performance in New Zealand as an ongoing and collaborative endeavour. Theatre Aotearoa and AusStage users come from New Zealand, Australia and all around the world.

To contribute Content to the Site, you must complete the appropriate registration form, and agree to license your contributions to Theatre Aotearoa under the Content Licence. You are responsible for the activity that occurs on your registration, and you must keep your password secure. You may not use another person's registration without permission. You must notify Theatre Aotearoa immediately of any unauthorised use of your registration.
Content contributed by Registered Users is licensed to Theatre Aotearoa under the Content Licence. The Content Licence is provided to Users at registration. Registered Users are required to agree to the Content Licence as a condition of registration. The Content Licence is a version of the Creative Commons: Attribution, Non-Commercial, Share Alike, the same licence under which Theatre Aotearoa provides Content to Users.
Theatre Aotearoa allows Registered Users to post comments and attach tags to records. On successfully completing a program of training in data entry protocols and procedures, Theatre Aotearoa also allows Registered Users to add, edit and copy records.
Registered Users are advised that all Content, including records, comments and tags, is subject to editorial review. Theatre Aotearoa reserves the right to assess the quality of and to moderate, and at its sole discretion, to accept, modify or reject Content at any time and on any basis.
Registered Users are responsible for their own Content and the consequences of publishing it on the Site. Registered Users must not submit Content that is (a) defamatory or otherwise unlawful, or violating any laws regarding harassment, discrimination, racial vilification, privacy or contempt; (b) abusive, offensive or obscene; (c) deliberate provocation of other Site Users; (d) compromising your privacy, the privacy of other Users or Theatre Aotearoa staff, or containing inappropriate personal information; (e) an infringement of intellectual property rights or copyright; (f) intentionally false or misleading; (g) seeking to endorse or promote commercial products, services or activities; or (h) a posting made on behalf of a User whose registration has been terminated or suspended.
The opinions expressed in Content are not necessarily those of Theatre Aotearoa or its partners. While care is taken to ensure that details entered into Theatre Aotearoa are correct, complete and up-to-date, Theatre Aotearoa does not warrant the accuracy of any information published on the Site andno responsibility will be taken for errors or omissions in data. Users are advised that the dataset is not yet comprehensive.
Theatre Aotearoa will terminate a User's registration if Theatre Aotearoa, in its absolute discretion, determines that the User has contravened these Terms of Use or any licence entered into by that User in respect of Site and/or its Content.
Theatre Aotearoa may change the information available on this Site without notice. Theatre Aotearoa may also change the conditions of access to the Site and its Services.
Theatre Aotearoa may change these Terms of Use and other policies at any time. Notice of such changes will be publicised on the Site not less than 7 days prior to their implementation. If you do not agree to any changes, you should give notice to cancel your registration within the 7 day period. Use of the Site after the changes become effective will be taken as acceptance of the changes.
There will be times when the Site and its Services are unavailable due to maintenance, emergency repairs, failure of telecommunications links and other events beyond our control, therefore we cannot guarantee that you will have uninterrupted access to the Site or its Content.
