Second year production. The Ik were forced from their hunting grounds by a mindless government, were in a chronic state of near starvation, a culture of hunger, mutual hostility and suspicion. The writers strip this incredible story to its agonizing essentials. The play moves with the quiet rhythm of inexorable catastrophe punctuated by explosions of perverse comedy. |
