Since earliest times make-up has been used in public and in the theatre, and now in film and television. The exhibition presents a cross-section of the developments in the art and technology of make-up through the ages. The exhibition includes a "chamber of horrors" and a re-construction of the make-up used by the ancient Britons (in light of information supplied by British archeological and other sources) |
