SUBTXT is MKA: Theatre of New Writing in the underground. MKA’s SUBTXT takes over La Mama Courthouse with the most dangerous, painful and “EXCELLENT” new writing, from local to international. Two weeks of non-stop play readings - from writers: unheard of, famous and infamous. Plays that won’t ever be produced; dream plays; and texts of pure experimentation. Two weeks of non-stop workshops, panels and discussions - plus tonight we’re camping overnight in the Courthouse because we’re staying up to shoot the moon. Writing with the inky black sky. CENSORED!
