| Description |
'HART' is a very personal and moving examination of the contemporary effects of Australia's forcible separation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from their families.
Young Noongar man Ian Michael and his co-writer Seanna van Helten developed 'HART' through testimonials and interviews with four Noongar men spanning three generations – including Ian himself.
Using the poignant words of these resilient men, 'HART' illuminates the ongoing after-effects and inter-generational cycle of trauma experienced by Indigenous Australians. |
