Description [In Black-Eyed Susan] the only alteration in the cast of character was that of Jacob Twig, which was performed with admirable success by Mr. Dyball. The after-piece, Fortune's Frolic, was represented for the first time, the scenery and dresses were new and the manager had not been niggardly in the arrangements. The principal characters by Messrs. Meredith, Buckingham, Cooper, and Vale, with Mrs. Weston and Mrs. Love, were ably sustained ; the music was excellent, the scenery in keeping, and the whole performance satisfactory.
