This series, which received one of three prizes for long poems awarded by the Arts Council of Great Britain in connection with the Festival of Britain, has since between published by Methuen. In it 35 characters from the New Testament, who knew Christ as a friend, enemy, or neutral observer, tell of their experiences. The author will read the selection. |
