Description The Skin of Our Teeth draws together the forces of modernist metatheatre to create a new kind of apocalyptic American play whose stakes are simultaneously historical and metaphysical, political and personal. The play shows us how much the world outside is like theatre and how we can more deeply recognise the theatrical nature of its cataclysms and renewals.
