Three wanna-be-Mexcians pay homage to their heroes of outlaw rock and roll, soul, and Mexican folk music. They summon the long dead spirits of Ritchie Valens, Nathaniel Mayer, The Bar Kays, Pedro Vargas... from the clubs of Detroit Soul City, to the stench of New York punk dives, and the street music of dusty Mexico. |
