| Description |
A woman, if she loves, can love on unwisely and in defiance of consequences, shaming with her truthfulness to her passion the harder nature of man; the reversed conclusion is, that such a woman, despite the enthusiasm of her love, is more capable, when a real duty has to be done at the cost of a great sacrifice, of doing that duty than is the man, although he strives as well as talks, and really entertains right notions of duty. A three act comedy. |
