This evening of Indian dance is divided into two sections, the first produced by local choreographers and the second by invited choreographers Mr and Mrs V.P. Dhananjayan. A nattuvanar and chenda player were specially invited from India to participate in the Ramanatakam programme. Groups participating in the Kala Utsava are the Apsaras Dance Company, Kala Mandhir, the Khotari Group, the Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society, the Rajesqari Thambyah Group and Vijayarani Dancers. |
