| Description |
Three prominent Singapore Indian dance groups will come together for an ambitious celebration in dance. The foremost exponent of Bharata Natyam today, musicologist and recipient of the prestigious Kalidas Samman Award, Dr Padma Subrahmanyam, has been specially commissioned to compose the music for the dance drama programme, entitled A Tribute to the Seasons (Ritu Mahatmyam). Assisting Dr Subrahmanyam with the coaching of the local orchestra are two Indian musicians, B. Kannan and R. Vijayan. |
