| Description |
The play is set in the oriental state of Serendip where familiar figures of popular comedy, like Truffaldino, dart in and out of a fantastic world of talking statures, anthropomorphic beasts and magic spells. King Stag is an odd and enchanting mixture of myth and low comedy, part fairy tale, part exuberant Commedia dell'Arte. |
