Disgrace is Act One of Eugene and Roie a projected three act opera. It concerns Sir Eugene Goossens, noted conductor of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra during the 1950s, and his involvement with Rosaleen Norton the so-called Witch of Kings Cross.
