| Description |
This comic opera in two acts lightly and wittily satirises men and their institutions. The 'hero' of the opera, Mr Broucek, is a timid bourgeois citizen who is transported in the course of the opera, firstly to a fantasy world on the moon and then back in time to Europe in the 15th Century. |
