Author Plays Trick in Minerva Show |
| Abstract/Description |
Mr Gerald Anstruther, in a new play entitled "The Third Visitor," which was given its first Australian performance at the Minerva Theatre, Sydney, last night, plays a trick on the audience. He tells a murder story which is almost to the point of dreariness. Then, in the last act, when one is puzzled about why so much time was wasted, and awaits a conventional ending, he springs a ripe piece of melodrama. |
