Grand opening of Tivoli by Sunshiners: Many hundreds turned away |
| Abstract/Description |
The opening of the Tivoli Theatre on Saturday night will be remembered as one of the big events in connection with the city's activities. There was not a vacant seat in the large building. Mr. Walter George's Sunshine Players proved to be entertainers of high class, and everything went merrily from the playing of the National Anthem at the beginning to its repetition at the close of two and three-quarter hours of first-rate vaudeville. |
