Encore [Fayette] |
| Abstract/Description |
The Sydney Opera House orchestra, having been seized with an awkward
contraction of the epiglottis, Fayette, the Australian fairy opera by Jas. Brunton Stephens and G. B. Allen, still remains a sealed mystery. Every one was sorry for Howard Vernon, who has gone back to graft with Williamson as an Ancient Pistol in Henry V. Judged by the names of the characters, and the synopsis furnished with the programmes, Fayette would not have proved a brilliantly witty or startlingly original production. |
